TruckerLink Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 7 September 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of TruckerLink, a transport marketplace operated by Daittons (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa.

By creating an account, accessing the platform or using TruckerLink, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About TruckerLink

TruckerLink is an online platform that connects clients who need transport with individual truckers and drivers.

TruckerLink allows users to:

  • Create client or trucker profiles
  • Search for truckers
  • View trucker profiles
  • Post liads
  • Respond to loads
  • Communicate directly with other users
  • Leave ratings and reviews

Daittons (Pty) Ltd is not a transport company, freight carrier, broker or employer of the truckers listed on the platform.

TruckerLink provides the technology and marketplace that enables clients and truckers to connect.

2. Trucker Profiles

Trucker profiles may be created by:

  • Owner-Drivers who own and drive their trucks; or

  • Drivers who drive trucks owned or provided by another person or business.

Truckers are responsible for ensuring that information provided in their profiles is accurate, current and complete.

Truckers must not misrepresent their identity, driving experience, truck, capacity, services, availability or qualifications.

3. Verification

TruckerLink may require truckers to complete verification before receiving or displaying a verified status.

Verification may include identity, contact, driver’s licence, vehicle documentation, references or other appropriate checks.

A Verified Trucker status means that the applicable TruckerLink verification process has been completed. It does not constitute a guarantee that the trucker will perform a particular service or that information provided by the trucker will always remain current.

TruckerLink may suspend or remove verification where information is found to be inaccurate, expired or misleading.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate information when posting a load.

This includes, where applicable:

  • What needs to be transported
  • Estimated load or weight
  • Pickup location
  • Delivery location
  • Required date
  • Budget or willingness to receive quotations
  • Any special transport or handling requirements

Clients must not request transport for unlawful, prohibited or undisclosed goods.

5. Transport Arrangements

TruckerLink does not automatically create a transport contract between a client and a trucker.

Clients and truckers are responsible for discussing and agreeing on:

  • Transport requirements
  • Pickup and delivery arrangements
  • Price
  • Payment
  • Timing
  • Loading and unloading
  • Special handling requirements
  • Any other conditions applicable to the transport

Users should ensure that all important arrangements are clearly understood before the service begins.

6. Direct Communication

TruckerLink enables clients and truckers to communicate directly.

Users must communicate honestly and respectfully and must not use the platform for harassment, fraud, threats, scams or other unlawful activities.

TruckerLink may review or investigate communications where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate complaints, prevent fraud or enforce these Terms, subject to applicable law.

7. Payments and Transport Fees

Unless a specific TruckerLink feature states otherwise, TruckerLink does not determine the price of transport services.

The client and trucker are responsible for agreeing on the transport price and payment arrangements.

TruckerLink does not charge commission on a trucker’s agreed transport earnings.

TruckerLink does not ordinarily receive or hold transport payments made directly between clients and truckers unless a specific platform payment feature states otherwise.

8. Trucker Membership

Trucker membership is subject to the applicable membership option selected by the trucker.

TruckerLink currently offers the following membership options:

Founding Member – Lifetime Membership

Founding Members pay a once-off membership fee in exchange for lifetime TruckerLink membership.

The current Founding Member fees are:

MembershipOnce-Off Fee

Founding Member membership does not require a recurring monthly subscription.

The Founding Member offer is a limited launch offer and may be withdrawn or closed once the available Founding Member places have been allocated.

1-Month Free Trial

Eligible truckers may be offered a 1-month free trial.

The free trial allows the trucker to use the applicable TruckerLink membership features during the trial period without paying the applicable monthly membership fee.

Unless cancelled before the end of the trial period, the free trial may automatically continue as a paid monthly Premium Membership, according to the plan and pricing applicable to the trucker.

The applicable renewal terms and membership fee will be presented to the trucker before or when the free trial is activated.

Premium Monthly Membership

Following the free trial, or where otherwise selected by the trucker, Premium Membership is available on a recurring monthly basis.

Current Premium Membership plans are:

Premium PackageCapacityMonthly Fee

TruckerLink may change membership plans, pricing or membership benefits in the future. Any applicable changes will be communicated or displayed in accordance with applicable law.

9. Membership Cancellation and Renewals

Truckers may cancel their membership in accordance with the TruckerLink Membership Cancellation Policy.

For monthly Premium Memberships, cancellation stops future recurring renewals. Where a membership fee has already been paid, access may continue until the end of the applicable paid membership period unless otherwise stated.

For the 1-month free trial, cancellation before the end of the trial period prevents the trial from converting into the applicable paid monthly membership.

Founding Member membership is a lifetime membership and therefore has no recurring membership renewal.

Membership fees are generally non-refundable once the relevant membership period has started, except where a refund is required by applicable law, a payment was made in error and confirmed by TruckerLink, or TruckerLink otherwise agrees to provide a refund.

10. No Commission on Transport Earnings

TruckerLink does not take a commission from the transport amount agreed between a client and trucker.

If a client and trucker agree on a transport price, the trucker retains the agreed transport earnings, subject to any lawful costs, taxes or other obligations that may apply to the trucker.

11. Ratings and Reviews

Clients may rate and review truckers based on genuine experiences.

Reviews must be honest and must not contain:

  • False information
  • Threats
  • Harassment
  • Hate speech
  • Personal information that should not be publicly disclosed
  • Fraudulent or manipulated ratings

TruckerLink may remove reviews that violate these Terms or applicable platform policies.
